Quality of stone axe

Why does quality of stone axe mean nothing?

i have tree10, bone saw55, make boards23.Ok.

i have tree10, stone axe15,chop blocks10.
i have tree20, stone axe15,chop blocks20.
i have tree22, stone axe10,chop blocks22.

Why?

First off, your carpentry skill needs to be added in there.
That may be lowering it.

Can you say " I have good stone axe and, when i use it, i chop block quality>10 from tree quality 10"?

Q of block depends on Q of tree, thats all. Its limited by your axe Q if im not mistaken.

So you found 16Q tree and checked it? You got 16Q blocks with 15Q axe? Or what?
Im sure you checked only 10 Q tree, so it wasnt limited by your axe Q, obviously.

I found tree 22. i choped it with stone axe 10 and got blocks22.

I think the OP asks why there is no cap (soft or hard) on stoneaxes when it comes to trees.

Or - as my ask myself - to anything else except butchering.
