I don`t like eternal claims

I think that personal and village claims must take damage with time or must have timers. Players must upkeep theirs claims, as they repair doors sometimes: fast and easy (1 branch i.e.) and everybody who have access (thresspassing+thievery) can repair and upkeep it.
It wil solve the problem of old claims or making claims with alts for fun or anoying or «for future… may be… when i shall upkeep this mine/house/land…»

Online status is not the reason to keep claim alive.

village claims already require LP upkeep.

you can remove a personal claim with a village claim.

But what if i dont want found village?
What if i am noooooob and all good land and resources around are under claims? And all this abandoned?

i.e. to destroy one big claim i need 500 000 autority. it is 50000Lp (lawspeaking,villageclaim), tons of material, 12 swords for statues, a lot of work to gain autority… With 12 warriors i can destroy all palisade walls, ruin houses and fck all hens and pigs around. But cant remove claim… Bwah!
And owner only needs something about 20000LP +4000 (yeomanry), some bones, branch and dream. Once…

Any claim/building must a) be undestructible b) have upkeeping by owner/settlers or selfdestructed.

Just having claims decay after a month without the character logging on would be a good change. It would do a lot to repair some waste areas. If necessary perhaps the devs could have an automatic e-mail that goes out to the account holder saying, "your claim has started to decay" and the decay itself take another month.

I don't think claim maintenace should be a chore however. Simply having the claim owner within the claim territory should be enough to keep it going. This game is still very hard on casual players who only can get a chance to play a couple of days a week. I don't think claim maintenace costs should be borne by them, even if that does provide an advantage to un-played claim holding alts that are sitting on the players second mine.

Yeah we suggested that for village decay too a simple check for last logged villager but did we get it? No. We got shitty authority drain. So fuck you decay loving whores. I swear if I see one more let's decay this and that thread I'm gonna come and kill you. That's your fucking solution to everything decay decay decay.

Yes, i agree with checking online status. if somebody drops playing, claim must be destructed immediately (1-2month).
What if claim installed just for annoying other ppl? Grifer only needs to login once to upkeep.

It is easy to gain 250k autority even if there is 2-3 men playing. If you want more, hire/invite more people.

if you cant upkeep village, dont found one! just put personal claim, manage rights and play for your joy.
