Stone Quarries

Just like mines, but you create a stone quarry.

Stone quarries can vary in the stones they provide.

Limestone, Granite, Chalk (!), Cinder, Slate, Sandstone, Marble.

Quarries can maybe even lead to the discovery of precious and semi-precious gems.

Diamonds (!), Sapphires (!), Gypsum, Emerald (!), Ruby (!), Obsidian (!~*~*~weapons~~*~*~!), Amythyst, Lace, Tigers-Eye, Quartz, Turquoise, Jade (!), and other assorted NATURALLY occuring substances.

Raw gemstones would be tumbled in a rock tumbler machine and then cut by a skilled artisan using a magnifying glass and iron/common metal file.

Files could then be upgraded to have diamond inlays, allowing a cleaner and more high quality cut.

I really like the idea of quarries as I feel it would add to the depth of the game.
