Wild boar in my garden.

I think it's not fair that boar appear in the fenced land.

One day I woke up and going to do smting in the garden. In 2 seconds I saw that I lay down and boar was under me. Also I'm not a warrior and not planned to have an armor on my closed land.

So I hope maybe you'll think about it.

P.S.: Sorry for wrong section.

I just had a boar spawn in my garden too. He was delicious ;)

Even if you don't plan on being a warrior, you should train up some marksman skill and get yourself a sling. Hunting is great for LP and for raising stats that are otherwise difficult to get, like strength.

I pity the boar. First it's fenced in, and then somebody lies himself down on top of this poor boar, doing god-knows-what to it.
Seriously, though, i can't see your suggestion beeing implemented. With all the strange stuff going on when it comes to palisades and fences, i'd seriously doubt that there's any clean way of telling what's "fenced in" and what's "fenced out".

Animals don't spawn inside player claimed land. As soon as you get yeomanry and put up a claim you can extend it to cover the area in your fence and you will be safe from the boars (and quite a bit safer from random pilfering). Bears can still bust through your little pink fence to whallop you, but yeomanry will give you the ability to build a pallisade and once you get one of those up you are safe from everything except battering rams and hostile raiders.

Animals do spawn within village claims so even after you get one of those you will still experience the random bear wandering through town rooting through all your fish baskets.

hmm... i have another claim/animal related question..

my house it at the edge of a relatrivly small area of heath, will having my claim on it make it less-likely to spawn yak/rams?
