gridlines?

gridlines?

has there been any talk about having a gridline option.


sometimes my plowing isn't too straight :(

Turns out you can shift-right click when dropping the plow, and it will automatically position it in the middle of a grid square/tile. Not a perfect solution, but it may make your life easier.

(Check out jackard's intro/manual... it's somewhere in the forums, i'm sure someone who knows what they're doing can link to it...)

I think he means when actually plowing.

yeah, sorry i was kinda vague. I mean that you can place the plow so you don't wind up too close to a grid line and plow extraneous squares, and then just go roughly in the direction you want, one square at a time, and as you go the plowed squares behind you make essentialy a "grid line" or guide to go off of.

Hit Crtl + L
This brings up the old land menu.
You can select a line of squares.
Hope this helps.

no but you can use it to draw a line to the tile you want and then press ctrl+L again without moving the mouse and click the tile, hope this helps
