Bark Armor

Okay so this might not be that great of an idea. But I mean seriously. For the new people starting the game it might be kind of nice to make a really weak armor that could be easier to craft than the current armor. The only thing I could think of at the top of my head was bark armor.. from tree bark. And plus it would look sweet. I mean it would go perfect with the spruce cap.

This the most ridiculous idea I have ever heard of, Bark was never used as armor and I don't think it ever will be. Besides, does it take much for some newbie to get hunting, catch a few rabbits, make a drying rack, and dry them in a tub? Seriously?

If you really want to make a low level armour why not wicker/rattan? Admittidly I don't think it even made its way out of south-east asia and so would be out of place, but then again silk didn't leave china until much later too. As an added bonus this armour could give a much higher resistance to arrow damage if certain damage types were ever to be implemented.

Seriously though, the idea is a bit stupid. but if you have to think of a low level armour at least put some thought into it and try and think of real armours that existed. Bark armour is stupid, I mean, we are not meso-americans fighting of spaniads.

cloth armor (vapntreyiu) exists and is easy to make
leather armor exists and is easy to make
hardened (boiled?) leather armor should be added. would require a cauldron obviously. possibly wax.

edit: i'd also like to see some armor value added for the hide cloak and whatever that leather jacket is called

Because wearing nettle shirts is realistic.
