Hunting Trophies

So I've decided to stubbornly maintain my dangerous abode despite frequently running for my health. (One ring NW of the '3' shaped lake if you're curious, gentle reader.) And I think to myself: It'd sure be nice to keep a tally of the foxes I will no doubt be killing in the future. Of course, a private tally is kind of boring. What I'd really like to do is show off my future fearsome prowess by keeping a line of fox tails, hanging in the wind. So I'm curious if you have already considered allowing hunters to produce trophies from otherwise useful materials.

That would be really cool, as long as you could tell a lvl 1 fox from a lvl 10.
Otherwise it wouldn't feel very meaningful, imo.

How about stringing a bunch of fox tails or bear teeth onto a necklace, or the land claim totem pole?

And the length of them determined how dangerous the animal was. Maybe do it automatically, as a player kills the beasts. This is something far in the future, of course, as I can imagine it DEVOURING server resources.

Anyway, i was searching for something similar and this thread is all that came up. It's a pretty neat idea, and apparently nothing has ever come of it.

I was actually thinking of having a necklace made out of a ton of bear teeth and boar tusks (like 50 each) that could give hunting related boosts based on quality (marks maybe?) [new thread for this idea maybe?]

But just having a purely aesthetic trophy that scales somehow with the sheer number of critters killed would be fun too

Hmm...Maybe decorating Claims? maybe You could put various hides or tails, on a claim and it randomly places it on the claim. I guess just for usefullness, Maybe after A certain amount of certain items you get buffs for your Claim. Example If you put about 1000 or more seeds put into your claim, all crops in the claim grow the slightest bit faster?
