Geology Pick

Postby Blxz » Wed May 12, 2010 6:55 am

As I was writing the metal hand-axe thread I thought of this. Much more unlikely but still useful. A one handed pick useful ONLY for speeding up rock chipping. i have used one of these babies in real life. Simple, convinient and lightweight. Possibly made from a piece of wrought and a stick, or 2 pieces of wrought. Would be far more convinient for roadbuilding through a forest, a tool in each hand. Also I can imagine useful for someone equipped with a sling who suddenly finds themselves under attack. other than that, very little use.

Again, any thoughts or suggestions?

I was actually thinking the same thing when I was building my roads.

the nice part is that is also a emergency weapon, weak but somehow usefull for a worker out of his city. I'm building roads too and i feel the same pain on picking stones, then remove pickaxe, put axe, remove tree, plow, re-equip pickaxe....yes. Maibe isn't the most important thing in the game, but i'll feel it usefull.
