Sickle

Replace the scythe with a one handed and one inventory slot occupying sickle please.
Not a big problem but it would be nice.

I say we could have both sickle (one handed) and scythe (two handed) but sickle would work just like a fast harvesting on one tile, while scyth would harvest for example three tiles in front of you like this:

# # # #
  |
  | right click on tile in front of you and select "Harvest"
  V

O   # #
#   # #

What do you think of that?

Would make life too easy and LP too easy to gain, it's already easy with farming.

A one handed sickle would make some sense if you had a large 'bag' on the other hand that would be equippable for holding a much higher number of seeds.

A scythe makes sense currently due to how it works. Perhaps having a sickle simply work at half pace in exchange for the other hand free would be nice.

I like the idea, I think they plan on re-working farms a bit though, I vaguely recall Loftar speaking about single plot constructions (that take up multiple tiles) rather than the current per-tile system. (or maybe as well as the current per-tile system)

Either way, if it's going to change, the multi tile scythe may not be appropriate

Sounds like a great idea! But if you make the scythe harvest 3 crops in-front of you the LP you get should only be 10 so even though it would be fast farming, you'd only get a third of the lp you would get for using a sickle or your hands.
