Xfire compatibility for Haven & Hearth.

Xfire compatibility for Haven & Hearth. Not sure if there is anything much you need to do to make xfire compatible with it but by doing so it should feasibly bring in a good bit more people into the game, as well as the fact that people like me could bring in my buddies easier that're a part of xfire. Just a thought.

For those that don't know what it is, it is a messenger for gamers.. basically. It has other features of course but yeah.

Thoughts?

No. I hate Xfire with a passion. Next it will be Haven & Hearth for Facebook.

What's to hate about X-Fire, anyway? I've been using it for years simply because it lets me play full-screen games whilst integrating my IM program and I've found it to be perfectly capable on that front. (It's got a bunch of irritating quirks, but the core functionality keeps me there.)

That said, I'm not too fond of the idea of adding the support. It really doesn't add much functionality (for me, at least) and I imagine it's non-trivial to do so in any case. It'd be a nice frill, maybe, but I wouldn't count on this idea flying.

Haaa, probably not. I just wanted it compatible with Haven & Hearth so I don't have to end up being forced to use Pacho's for IRC or messengers like ICQ to chat with potential traders/etc.

Haaa, how can you hate a simple messenger?

It's like saying you hate a tree.

No. It's like saying I hate a specific tree.

My point was that it's a messenger. There is nothing to hate about it as there really isn't much beef to it. It's basically a messenger that records the time you spend playing games. They have other features but yeah. None of any significant value. Only reason I could see you hate it is because of it's limitations? Or perhaps the fact that it stalks and scans your computer for installed games. Other then that..?

What do you "specifically" hate about xfire that does not make it a viable option to use as a messenger?

That's not true because:

Bloat is worthy of hate. X-Fire used to be good, minimal, unobtrusive, now it takes up too many system resources and does a poorer job of the function it used to perform really well.

That is why I personally, dislike it. Also the UI is ugly now. When I want a community overlay now I typically use steam instead, which is only a bit better, but I've already got it because I have steam games.
