Where did that list of outstanding issues go to?

Thoughts on the further development of Haven & Hearth? Feel free to opine!

Where did that list of outstanding issues go to?

Postby Sarge » Tue May 18, 2010 3:22 pm

Dev's, Mods:

There used to be a thread of outstanding issues, mostly 'easy fixes' in my ignorant programming perception, 'low hanging fruits'. I can't find it...can we have it up again?

The list used to contain things like:

- Fix bee hive q bug
- Auto revert to previous movement speed after dropping a carryable
- Auto select optimal movement speed basis terrain type
- Change pie progress bar to improve visibility
- Increase seed bag capacity
- Add keyring belt slot
- give Sarge a ninja cape
- etc etc etc

This is not a dig at the dev's... I was rather thinking that it might be a little bit of a "out of sight, out of mind" issue. I for one would love to see a "We've been developing" thread one weekend that listed a heap of improvements, optimizations and fixes rather than new stuff.

Hotkeys for running speed would be nice.

Might as well toss "Party text colors" up there too.

Well, try Ctrl+R then

I think McGriddles means for each individual speed, such as Ctrl+1 crawl, Ctrl+2 walk, etc.

This should include a list of things that should be buildable in places they currently aren't (which I assume is fairly easy to fiddle with).

The two that immediately come to mind are milestones in mines/caves and cheese racks in caves (and I assume in mines).

OK, so it looks like other would like to have the list back too and would like to add a couple simple issues to it, if approved. So, can we haz it? Is it a dev decision solely, or can one of you mods help out?

It wasn't deleted. It certainly wasn't being updated and hand some very curious ideas about what might be considered an "outstanding issue." That list was more useful for preventing newcomers from rehashing the same old ideas than actually reminding the devs of anything.

Bump it if you like. Not difficult to find at all.

Thanks Jackard, I just didn't pick the correct search string and "suggestion index" just didn't come to mind when I was thinking "outstanding issues", but then again, I am pretty damn tech challenged.
