Map case

A seedbag like container for maps, ideally 5x5 (even if this means it's a 2x1 or 2x2 object) so you can store a regions worth of localmaps while the regionmap is being completed.

Alternatively, an atlas, allowing you to bind map pages together with glue and leather.

Just some ideas that occured to me while we were discussing in game mapping, people seemed to like it, thought I would post. Not sure if anything else like it has been posted, as I had no idea what to search for. Map, case, atlas, container all failed obviously.

I am pretty sure Grimoirs have been suggested and Jorb at least reckons they're a cool idea. Just no art/dev effort on em so far.

My guess is they're probably not going to do it until they decide to spend some proper time on the mapping functionality to so we can annotate maps and do lots of other cool stuff

A simple 5x5 parchment/map/message only container would be adequate without a specific 'atlas' variation if such a thing is made I'd like to see it support auto-organizing of local and regional maps. The atlas would have an "organize" function on the pop-up menu which both arranges/aligns the maps grid fashion and ejects (into your inventory only if space is available) any maps that don't belong to the region. Naming maps much like Keys are named would also be a great addition and should be possible for the Atlas as well. And most importantly the Atlas must be able to hold blank parchment and incomplete maps that can be drawn too while they are still inside.

I saw a thread that's a bit like this one before, altrough it was about books in general and one of the books functions would be that you could bind maps togheter. Altrough this is the only thread I've seen before about an atlas only, the other thread we're books in general.
