Toads and Rats: Expanded

As you know we have the lovable rats and toads running across the map giving it flavor and life. We can pick them up, we can store them, we can kill them, we can drop them. The things you can do with toads and rats need to be expanded in order to show respected members of the wildlife some integrity. So in this thread we shall suggest ideas for toads, and rats.

Toads - Can be made into a soup.
Can eat silkmoths flying by.
Makes a great pet.
Plentiful.
Maybe you can make a repulsive as all hell ugly ass toad hat made from toad skins.

Rats - Intelligent.
Can eat food and breed in food sources. (Aka your baskets of meat)
Can be eaten raw by badasses.
Can be cooked and eaten by everyone else.
You could probobly sew together rat clothes made of many rat skins.
God forbid you sew together hundreds of live rats making a wriggling abomination of a cloak.

...am i the only one who thought to use them as a portable-logout-without teleporting back to hearth device?
You drop them. hostile them without killing them.. logout... then you can do whatever, come back to your afk self, pick em back ect
...It was useful back before the multiple-restarts patch.
