anyone willing to update them consistently can make these threads. they probably wont be stickied unless they are objective and well-done, though. the current OP contains the bare minimum such a thread would have, for example.

I'm mentioning all threads that i feel have gotten a good enough amount of posts(or one's that I see repeatedly posted.). Coincidentally a lot of threads for suggestions I made did get a fairly good amount of responses. Generally at least more then one page worth. I am basically going from page 1 to page 2, to page etc. I added mine first as I knew them off the top of my head and it's easy to get to them as opposed to sifting through Ideas board thinger. :lol:

I dunno, we shall see. I'm just doing it now because i'm bored. Later I suppose a mod could re-write this or something. Right now i'm basically just linking to all of them. My next step if i get time and am still bored is to list the pros & cons mentioned within the threads, and general ideas for improvement such as one's mentioned in the macro protection thread. annnd. If i'm really bored perhaps a quick summary for each thread.

This works if you plan on actually sticking around long enough to keep this thread alive. I suppose if you leave someone else can keep it up to date. If you're going to start such an idea thread I suggest you actually start reading backwards through the forum and look for the better threads, not just 'threads with a lot of posts'.

Considering the amount of threads you've made here and the quality of them, are you sure you're the best for it? It's nice that you suggested it, but you should probably leave it to someone who's been here longer, has seen most of these suggestions (as some older members often point out, most are already thought of and just reposted), and knows what quality is to make.

If however no one of that caliber steps up and you do it, I suppose I'll be suggesting threads to link.

Belts - viewtopic.php?f=5&t=6371 (Probably the only example of a simple idea that was fleshed out to actually be good)

Jackard is ofc right, anybody willing to make an objective list that is updated regularly is fine. But just because a thread has 2 pages doesn't mean it is a good idea. In fact your thread title is suggesting you are collecting ideas that have been proposed over and over again or ideas that might come to mind fairly easy. I guess you should stick to those and not add threads because you made them and they got more than 5 replies.

The forum in question isn't just for in-game ideas but for ideas and critique in general.

The purpose of the thread isn't to be biased in any way and to post up every thread that seemed to get a fair amount of responses & one's that I feel might be suggested again. Well, although people have trashed my Hot Air Balloon/airship suggestion the idea was more to help people start thinking 3dimensionally in a 2D game to help suggest more ideas to make it a more entertaining & unique survivalisque game.

Well if you can think of a better thread title let me know. I felt it kind of worked but I can see how it might get confusing. I'm basically making a collection of threads throughout H&H's forum which could be commonly suggested threads or just simply threads that have been suggested in the past. Also as an easy reference point for perhaps the developers to sift through at a much easier rate then in the state it's currently in.

the whole point of cleanup of this forum is so we wouldn't need a thread listing the threads because there wouldn't be so goddamn many

I'm not trying to trash your ideas or you, but if you read the sticky you'll see that most of your the threads you linked to aren't exactly following those guidelines.

If you're going to make a thread like this you're going to just post every idea. That doesn't solve anything, all it does is give us another way of just you know... scrolling down through the forum and clicking the title. If you make a thread like this, you should limit it to:
A)Threads that are repeated often so that they're not repeated again and people can just bump them or add what they want to it.
B)Threads that are well-met

The forum being clean would mean that this thread in particular the way you're making it would be useless, with that said, just do as sabinati requested and you'll have pretty much the same thing as this thread, but the proper way.

Well, the thread should list not only overly suggested ideas but unique ideas as well. Just because they're unique they shouldn't be ignored. Just because someone didn't formulate their idea properly, it's an idea nontheless and shouldn't be dismissed. Although it would be nice if everyone could articulate themselves properly that's just not feasible.

That's debatable considering I don't really see sabinati going through and cleaning the area out 100% & moving threads to the proper places. I also feel that going to one thread to be able to be linked to all viable threads makes it easier for people to use as a reference point to not only make sure their thread wasn't already suggested before but at the same time be able to sift through one page of threads in one thread & be able to respond to threads that interest them.

I don't know about you but I personally find it annoying to go page through page to find the thread i'm interested in responding to. Although cleaning out this forum will make it easier to manuever through there is more then enough suggestions to make it hard to narrow it down to just one page.
