I think it is stupid that all items for the symbel use different abilities, but at the same time all use Psy as a stat. That leads to only the towns smith being able to craft those items, because even if his abilities like sewing or carpentry aren't that high, he will always be able to craft better stuff than the taylor or carpenter. Diversify the stats a little, so different people will be involved in decorating the Symbel. It doesn't have to be the stats usually used for the adequate ability, but only Psy is a bad solution.

You know, burg, it could be argued that this just means that, perhaps, other people than *just* the smith should have psy. :lol:

Psyche was never intended as a smithing only stat. It was intended as a stat representing (among other things) your artistic and creative talent.

You know, jorb, it is not like that didn't come to mind. But with the current foods available for Psy it is just not possible (even for the biggest towns) to create multiple chars with decent Psy.

I'd rather see some better psy foods. Maybe hemp buds should give psy? Chewing tobacco? New fish?

Depends on your definition of decent... I suspect you mean "extremely high" ;)

I think the dev's original plan was for it to be a low stat, the min max situation you guys have set up with alts is foiling that plan to some degree.

Perhaps the existence of smiths with insane psy is more of a symptom of the broken jewelry system than a problem with the symbel...
