What I am thinking is that at the current time, there is a lack of offline activities. No, I'm not thinking about turning H&H into Farmville or any other browser game, just giving players who have to leave the game for a few days the opportunity not to lose all their advantage to those who kept on macr- ah, ofcourse I mean grinding lp during his absence.
Think about academies or training halls - huge buildings with high building costs and quick decay, therefore alot of maintenance needed. Only bigger settlements could afford running one, demand payments of their non-village trainees or whatever. Sending a character to such an institution would give:
- some lp gain per hour * dominant stat
- -1% of current academy lp gain every hour (Tiredness, nullify this effect by sleeping, 1 RL hours's sleep = +10%)
- -5% FEP gain * hours trained (Academic Nausea, decreases only while spending in-game time, as with personal beliefs)
- -5% to all attributes * hours trained (Tiredness #2, only way to get rid of it is ...SLEEPING !) (EDIT: Doesn't really make sense since you'd have to sleep a day after a longer training session to regain stats, which is stupid)
There could also be lp/food mods at the academy (chars gotta eat after all) and probably a thousand ways to exploit this for even MOAR STATS, but that's the point of H&H, isn't it?
Anyway, share your thoughts...
