bears dont sleep just in caves and bears spend a huge amount of theyr time outside trying to eat up for the winter so it wouldnt make any sense to find bears hanging out in caves(unless we add seasons in which case bears would only spawn in caves yeah) , not to mention youd force everyone to be able to fight bears or else have theyr path blocked constantly(if this isnt the case all ingame year round its fine though)

I'd be happy to see caves get a major overhaul to give them more life.

I'd probably rank it as one of the higher items on my wish list for overhauls right now:
1 - Village management tools
2 - Hunting / Combat
3 - Mining
4 - Caves (could be joined with Mining)

If we get weather, then when its rainy/winter, bears should be in caves. But then we will need some insulation too keep out cold, and planting crops wont work in winter, and...nvm, I'd rather make another topic.
