Better shit and wheel behavior

Yes that was intentional.

It should obviously work with building/quantum storage. I almost need not say it.

Movement of items shouldn't require shift button held when an item is clicked if a container window is open but should default to cursor picking if none are active OR if shift is pressed (changing eq from a container is the only applicable scenario here btw).

Scrolling should work for an open trough UI as well (e.g. rapidly scrolling seeds from inv or seedbags into a trough).

Likewise, seeds should auto-cursor (Auto-planting) without shift and likewise NOT auto if ctrl+shift is pressed (Current behavior when neither ctrl or shift is pressed). They should auto but not Q sort if shift is press (last item picked, same as current shift+click plant auto UI)

Auto-planting should Q sort as if ctrl+shift wheeling and should do so from seedbags. This should be the absolute default behavior without shift or ctrl pressed while clicking to plant.

When wheeling, pressing shift should engage the UI as it currently does. Last-item-moved sort. Ctrl+shift moves Low Q first and regular scroll moves HQ first.

Is there such a thing as UI science?
There surely must be some sort of flowchart standard way of expressing those things?

I will not comment on your actual ideas of implementation in this post, I hopefully will have more time to do so later, but while I generally think your idea is better than status quo, can you prove it is the best of all schemes?

if you think about it it is optimal because the most commonly used functions are default while the least commonly used have more conditional factors attatched.

Maybe you could post flesh for ideas posted in it as a comment there (to keep the stuff together and also to give it a bump now and then) ?
