Character walk/run speed after (in example) lifting objects

Let character remember last chosen walk / run speed so after lift something (or other things that decrease speed) speed can be set back to previous option.

Sign me up. We need this one! It's very frustrating.
I will just add We should be able to walk with normal speed while holding some not-so-heavy items( like baskets with 4-9 slots).

More then enough that if the Search engine was use, it would have been found easily...

I used search option but i didn't found anything useful. Sometimes its not obvious what words other people use to describe something.

I'll show the link and quote when it was suggested so you can discuss more there.

viewtopic.php?f=5&t=2147

It is such a PIA to adjust speed after carrying an object, especially when reorganizing areas. This function is already in place with the cart, it makes perfect sense to apply it here. It would obviously toggle to the fastest low-stam-drain speed for the present tile. It is intuitive interface and the function already exist so I would think it not difficult to implement. I might be wrong. I'm not a programmer so don't shoot me for saying that please. Thank you for your time and consideration!

Oh...and plowing.

Also adopted in Granger's suggestion of the multitude of RSI

Needs no explanation and could be done in the client. Maybe an option to select a default speed, or return to last speed before picking up the liftable item. [X] Discussion.
