On bows and arrows

1.) Let us remove arrows from a quiver! Why does this not work??

2.) Bows are useless in PvP. Even a "high" q rangers bow wont scratch a decent armor, it would take hundreds of shots to get the armor down, not to mention that thing is slow as fuck and god forbid if the target is moving. Keep the latter two, but let it pierce through armor so archery becomes a viable option in PvP.

This, so much.

Bows seriously need to be buffed (Ranger's anyhow) It's hard enough to get a q100 Ranger's Bow and even then the damage is absolutely crap for pvp purposes

I haven't engaged in any PvP yet and all my combat experience is against animals, so legitimate question-- Is it bows/arrows that need buffed or does armor need nerfed somehow? Or both? I've read a few other things here that suggest good quality armor makes someone a tank who can kill a whole village, though likely both of these problems are just indications the whole combat system needs some love.

Though I definitely agree about being able to take arrows back out of a quiver, that really ought to be possible.

So yeah, you're not going to do anything to an armoured target with any bow. It doesn't help that it's generally harder to raise ranger's bow q than to raise armour q.
If you keep focusing on the shadow behind, you will not see the light in front of you.

Being successful isn't just about hard work and succeeding, it is also about picking yourself up when you fail.

I think ranger bows should only do modest damage through armour of equal q (20-40 damage when per = agi), but should be easier to aim (can get up to 50% accuracy vs a running target). So you can't get one-shotted while tabbed away but should still be worried about archers in a battle.

What about moving targets, wouldn't something comming closer to you SPEED UP the aim speed...
I know I would be able to shoot something getting bigger... (Though a bear would make me soil myself)

Need crossbows with armor penetration lol.
Or untie aiming speed from quality to skill.

Crossbows - Yes
Aiming Speed - No, this doesn't solve the problem of armor penetration. If I shoot you 1,000 times a second for 0 damage it's still 0 damage.

Well, even normal bows stay unused. It`s faster and cheaper to use a sling when you hunt. May we have a buff for them?

Code: Select all
Bronze helmet, q10: 40/40
Bronze plate, q10: 100/100
Vapntreyiu, q10: 10/10
Leather pants, q10: 25/25
Ranger boots, q10: 15/15

Total: 190/190 (380 combined)

Ranger's bow, q10: 300 damage max
Bone arrow, q10: 20 damage max

Total: 320 damage max

Since when does deflect stack?
Pretty sure it should be closer to 100/190, which is 290 soak+absorb meaning 30 damage. Wich is 1/3 of your starting hp

The biggest problem here is the abmyssal health pools
