A Different Image for Pregnant Livestock

Postby Phooka » Mon Jun 21, 2010 6:34 am

I think that having different images for cows and sheep when they are pregnant would be a good idea.

I recently tamed two sheep and two rams. My sheep and rams have been in the same paddock and I now have one lamb. I'm worried that my other lamb has been born over the fence and wandered off.

A different image for pregnant animals would also be useful for knowing when you have to fill an extra trough for all those hungry mums to be. :D

As has been requested before, an indicator of pregnancy in the info screen would also be great. Imo, it would be nice to have more than just a "yay/nay" type indicator for pregnancy, but a gestation progress indicator/bar would be cool, so that you have an idea of how long before the cow/ewe is expected to give birth.

Yeah, progress bar in the info sheet would be neat. But being able to see pregnancy status at a glance (ie what OP is suggesting) would be superneat.

While we are at adding status bars how about adding a bar for the calf/ewes telling how long till full adult. Simple timer is something or a little image of a cow/sheep tht gets shaded over like when you leave things in the herb table.
