Water creation and fishery

Postby Kalacia » Thu Jul 01, 2010 2:51 pm

I had an idea, a lightbulb moment if you will.

It would be nice to be able to make shallow water for our village to make it look nicer, not deep so n00bs can drown... just shallow. It could also be good if you could build a fishery so you can farm fish and muscles etc.

This could be done by building a barrier out of wood, metal, stone and then digging down.. ofc rope would be required so you could get out. Each material or combination of allowing for larger areas of water....

With this principle aquaducts, or canals could be made for villages inland so trade could flurish due to the ease of access... locks could be produced much like gates now allowing for deep water. this would also require maintainance so would create new jobs for people in villages to maintain and protect these routes, tolls could also be used to aid the influx of currency into the world.

If its a bad idea, or wont work fair doos... ill get my coat
