Easier 'trading'

Postby Phalacrox » Sun Jul 04, 2010 3:25 am

Isn't it time to implement a trading option? For big trades with chestfuls of chants and linen and such it's unnecessary, but it sure would be better than dropping 'the stuff' or running to the nearby container and putting 'the stuff' in it, just so you could pass 'the stuff' to another player.

I'm guessing the problem is with the distance between player, since you shouldn't be able to do it from one end of the screen of the screen to another, or through a palisade.

Any thoughts on the subject? :)

Jorb and Loftar said they like seeing people getting ripped off apparently.

isn't it wonderful how you can change a scenario by how you say it/

here is my way: jorb and loftar prefer to keep trade 100% in human control because they like the atmosphere it brings with it and makes everyone be on their guard, alert for potential attempts to rip you off

or you can make it a fucking boring piece of shit 3 click grind like to many things in games are already.

Then what about a one way trading system, a window opens and you can place in it what you want to give to someone. He can accept or refuse and he will still be able to rip you off. Sounds simple enough.
