Toggle-able Decay/'HP' bar

I believe this is straightforward, and would solve many problems people have had.

I don't believe I need to say anything that the topic title doesn't.

You're talking about constructed items I gather?

Yeah I saw that pic of your skin and that would be nice. a bit smaller and thus less obtrusive might be good though

Maybe the bar could be blocks though, due to the fact that buidables have varying amounts of decay hits they can take. Eg. I think a drying rack only has full, 50% and destoyed after the 2nd hit, while a bee hive might have 10. Wit so many buildables, it would be tricky to know what a 50% HP bar really represents, i.e. can it take 1 more hit or 5.

This, I concede, might be a bit of a bitch for something like a mansion... where do you fit a shit ton blocks.

Small block graphic, colon, number 50.

It wouldn't look as good, but it would work just fine. Then when it gets down to 10 or something, it expands to a full bar.

I'd take being able to inspect items for decay instead, though - some sort of command you target them with and it tells you in the Messages window how long it has left. That way the red tone lets you know what needs to be inspected, and you can go check. This way has less stuff on screen, but of course also gives you less instant information.
