I know the idea of a FEP "melting pot" dubbed a stew has been mentioned, but I think a new feature should be added allowing hearty stews should be implemented.
Stews involve a long, similar to beer, wine, cheese, and steel, cooking process, but are worth the effort used to produce. First, meat and broken bones are added to a cauldron for 8 in real life hours to produce a stock. This stock is the base of the stew you are going to make. (more uses for chicken, beef, and the new pork) With that stock you then add ingredients, beetroot, carrots, beet greens, peas, ground pepper, chantrelles, onions, etc. This has to simmer on a constant heat for 12 in real life hours and then the product is made. It could be stored in a new glass or wooden container and then consumed. I would imagine the result would be similar in FEP gain to middle-high tier cheeses, hopefully worth the time and effort of making it.
Borscht is a good example, because not only will the Russians love it, but it utilizes many of the crops and meat that we have currently in the game. (beet, beef, onion, carrot, beet greens, butter, pepper, vinegar/wine)
