Hey guys...
So , here is my suggestion... If a guy wants to enter a town, he prolly wont be allowed in because there is a chance he will try to kill people. So here is my suggestion:
Someone could ask the other guy to show him his inventory. If the other guy agreed , then he could be let in , because he wasn't hiding any weapons or armor.

I believe that if this was implemented , there would be a lot more contact between people...

most player interactions are pretty much side-by-side? and if they search his inventory what about what he has equipped? maybe a noob could miss a sword or something... what if there is a sword and they are side-by-side? does the searcher get killed? can the searcher take the item... ? can the searcher some-how alter the other guys inventory.. ?

Just give them some crates(or some other container) to put there stuff in. And then let them stock up some stuff from a other crate to fill up there inventory.
(crate: as in visible from a "save" distance when its empty.)

O yea. And to make sure you know there inventory space ... Make them strip down. [grin]

New problem: How to make sure villagers do not kill you, or steel your stuff, when you do what they ask.

A great idea.

Make it so you can take things - Requires theft, the person having their windows open means they can see too.

Would go nicely in an update for general village safety
