Rotation of players view and of objects

Sorry, this probably has been addressed before, but I really do think this game needs rotatable objects, and the ability to rotate the screen. The reason I believe this games needs it is because if you trudge through a forest, the trees take out a lot of your PoV, now a boar or bear or even a player could just hide in the trees shadow, and you would not be able to see them, and it makes for an easy ambush. I understand that a player ambush is probably part of the game, but where an animal jumps you it is slightly annoying. Also if you ever want to travel south, you almost always have to lower the menu, if you were talking to someone, it becomes awkward when you have to keep reopening and closing the menu while also travelling south. The last reason I believe it should be changed is because when you build a house, I know it warns you about this but sometimes it is unavoidable, it will block out crops, objects, parts of a road. So if you're able to add in a rotation in the nexxt update, I would be very thankful :)

While I agree it's something that would be nice, at the same time I understand why it's not there, and considering how ugly it would be after allowing rotation I'm not necessarily for it.

rotatable objects - Yes please
rotatable camera - No, not unless it's done in the most perfect of ways, and even then it'll be ugly and I'll hate it, you, and everyone who brought it up.

It'd require changing things that would most likely be a huge pain in the ass.

But, realistically, trees WOULD block out your POV. I feel it makes things more realistic, and helps keep you on your toes while traveling in the forest.

I think things like crates, and tables should be able to be turned, but not things like kilns, or chicken coops.

Yes, trees would block your line of sight but not in the fashion that they do now. Also, I can't see why you'd disagree with things like kilns, smelters, coops, vending stalls, beds, wardrobes and the like being rotatable. Being in opposition to something that simple as a quality-of-life improvement is just asinine.

But what if players rotate large objects to face north? Using said objects would be a bit more difficult.

Then again, they put it on themselves. :\
