Carts and Dead Animals

So, I tried to put the results of my hunting in a cart - and it didn't work. Is this a bug or a feature?

Lack of feature rather than bug per se. Animal corpses are not persistent (I.e. are not saved with map data, disappear if we reboot the server) which is the reason they can't be placed in carts atm. Should be fixed. You'll get more bang for your cart slot buck if you carve the corpses up and place them in chests, though. :)

Thanks. I normally do carry chests on a lot of cart errands, but that time I was lumbering. The deer just decided to walk into my sword ;-)

Sorry to rebirth an old topic, but being out in Mordor, and not being able to find a mine, or someone to trade with for metal (until today) tossing a corpse in a cart, or perhaps the shore-slain bear body in a boat would really help at least this poor fool.
