New weapons and new way of crafting?

Postby Shafin25 » Fri Jul 23, 2010 7:15 am

I have a very new suggestion.
I've seen some life survival liek games and this one seems to be missing something in the middle.
For example, we have low level fists, and high level swords.
What about in the middle?
Like a bone dagger of some sort.
You use a boar tusk or maybe a carved bone, with some bough, and a woodened handle, you can make a bone dagger for fighting or defense?
There could also be a new skill.
Also, I suggest that we can have maybe a crafting items like chisel and such to make better items.
Like you can use the chisel to craft some items that a stone axe or maybe your hands won't be able to craft.
This coudl open alot of new ways like crafting tables, new decorations, sculptures etc.etc..etc
Why make a new character when you wish to join a friend? Just walk on and never give up! When you do, you'll have realised you arrived.

Intermediate items andmore variety of them are needed indeed. One-handed versions perhaps slightly slower of utility items would be nice (sickle, chisel, who knows), more variety and things that 'should' be doable easily should be doable. For example why yes a `good` shovel would be made of iron you `can` make a weak shovel out of wood capable of digging clay/soil without much fuss. Introducing decay to inventory items (to some extent) and having weaker ones decay faster would be an excellent way of doing this.
