The Place Where Bad Threads Go To Die.

I'm playing still. I won't partake in the poll however. It's only fair if the dev's ask these questions. All that said yes the new version has issues but so did original version of Haven till they were resolved.

If we want to talk preferences I would have much rather had old graphics with new funtionallity and refinement. But that being said I am giving them time to further improve things. It's only fair. They have been rather good at updates and trying to listen. :)

I don't think requesting world resets is against the rules again yet but if it gets out of hand we'll see. Even so, opinions on the matter aren't exactly hel worthy.

Just what, praytell, would a reset achieve beyond boosting player numbers for a maximum of ~2 months?

I do not know the ability for the paying factions to crush newbi hoards laughably easily yet again?

I didn't report the thread, I knew it didn't break rules but still I wish it did. It feels like way off what players should do. This looks like something devs could do if they feel like it, the way they want; not a random player. Plus the OP used a click bait name for the thread, this has nothing to do with a vote on game, but feels more like either confuse choices or an insult to devs. Let's just look at "Hafen" only, does that mean we erase all Haven? What about people who paid to play Haven? And how do new players vote, what do they know about resets or Haven?

Yep. I really don't think this thread is warranted. World resets only occur when the devs have something to add that requires it or there is some other reason, such as critical failures. Much like the old LP system, w7 isn't coming back. If you have parts of that game you want brought back, make a reasonable request and discussion in C&I, or even the Inn if you want, but these sorts of polls are not constructive.

I'll note that I did bring it up with the other moderators, and people can still access the poll.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.
