Don't. The last thing anyone needs is another self aggrandized jackass.

Only Loftorb can create subforums so any petition to create a new subforum has to go to them. We have no such ability.

Because tempers are high and everyone is pushing everyone else's buttons. Minor things that probably wouldn't warrant a warning or ban can be judged harsher than they are when everyone shits on everyone else. It sucks and in a few hours or maybe a day or two it'll be a lot easier to judge that action without such extreme bias. Moderators are tasked with enforcing and meting out judgments based on their current state and ability so we work with what's on our mind.

Shrapnelx wrote:After seeing some of the other Mods defend Jackass and his dumb mistake, im starting to doubt the balance of the mod team.

On the whole most mods agree that the quality of the content available on the moot started as low and only continued to degress. Reviewing the megathread reveals the first 30 pages to be sprucecapped individuals knocking over unclaimed log cabins and the next 30 pages to be, almost without exception, people murdering random sprucecap newbies. No stories or context or care. Low quality content is, on the whole, bad for these forums and the community. Aspiring towards higher quality posts is something that I can back 100%, so yes, I back Jackard on this decision. I don't feel that every single post in there should be there but without appeals to specific posts/threads I'm not willing to move them out. While Jorb does not agree with how this situation was handled and would not have operated in this manner, he has opted to leave this up to the mods.

Mods admit that they are biased, that the mods do not make an effort to understand what is going on, and that all the mods support each other when they had out bad judgements, on top of resulting to insulting the other person when they have no valid reason nor stance.

Seems we cant even criticize the mods in the only thread meant for that purpose.. they just group up and defend each other, no matter how stupid the mistake was.

You just contradicted yourself by posting your criticism.

FYI: That something isn't how you like it neither makes it wrong, not you right.

No he's completely correct, you're all just too dense to realise it.

The problem is that the Mods said the only way things will change is to take it to the Devs. While post let them know how we feel, unless they read, then it is meaningless. To effect change we must storm the Bastil.

Anything written is meaningless if it's never read.

That being said I've seen revenge reporting and it can be incredibly annoying to deal with as a mod. I don't think that type of PM is appropriate considering though. It could have been more polite to convey the same message.

We said the only way to get a subforum added was to ask jorb. That is not the only possible change.

Please then, what changes can be done that do not involve them?

I like to point out all the Mods ignored this request.

So either they cant change things and lash out to abuse their power, or they can change things but dont answer due to not wanting to be held accountantable, which is still abuse of power.
