It would be funny of it didn't involve, you know, quit a lot of people dying and further difficulties in stopping the spread of the virus (and increased risk of mutation).

I saw in my youtube feed that christians in Texas are protesting against the corona vaccine because they think its a ploy to microchip everybody. You don't really see this kind of religious extremism outside of the middle east.

There's very few people protesting the Mark of the Beast shit, most of the people protesting are those who have lost their jobs/incomes and aren't able to keep afloat, there's plenty of crazies out there but the Media makes them float to the top.

I personally think they're all idiots, but I certainly understand the idea that American's don't like being forced to do anything. It's not illegal to be a fucking moron.

I think media bias always swings toward the strange in any situation. It's useful to hear from somebody who is there.

Makes me wonder if there is such a thing as too much freedom. Australia is regularly accused of being a nanny state and protecting its own citizens at the expense of their freedom. Life there is very comfortable though. Perhaps too much so. Even in times such as these.

I hate countries like finland where they refuse to do things because oh it would limit the freedom of the individual.

Who cares about freedom, when the result is chaos and suffering?

Numerous problems of "democracy" also show up in situations like this. People are just blaming each other, making decisions about anything is impossible.
If there only was one guy who would decide it all, there would be no problems. Except of course if he made the wrong decisions.
But does democracy really prevent you from making the wrong decisions?

For me it decreases my belief in the current system by a magnitude, when you see in newspapers two government health agencies battling between each other whether or not makeshift-masks should be worn by ordinary citizen or not. Democracy still gives too much power to certain people. Like some minister said that masks are not good because people who have heart or respiratory problems may suffer from wearing them. And that is reason why no one should wear masks. Great logic. (Did she think that perhaps people who have trouble breathing through them could be exempted from the recommendation??)

I read from a Finnish newspaper that US is saying that it was made in a lab in Wuhan and that is partially why they suspended funding to WHO.
