Tests are going down. I am unsure why. Maybe now that community transmission is totally out of control in Victoria and spreading quickly along the entire east coast of Australia they have given up on testing. I think they are struggling to keep up with contact tracing now as well so this may be another factor.

Interesting question will be how many of the 'cases' (which in reality are just positive PCR tested, this does not imply being infected) will develop symptoms, how many of them will need hospitalization, how many of these will need intensive care, how many of these will need ventilation and how many will succumb.

And, this is the most important metric, the age profile of the ones really affected. Because in case that profile is compareable in distribution and magnitude to what had happened the last years or decades... one should ask why your government wants you to worry about something that has not changed.
Like here in Germany, where corona has simply replaced what usually was 'seasonal influenza'.

Well, without the money, power or family ties which belong to societies "elites" we will never know for sure what is really going on in the world. All I know is people who can think for themselves, ask questions and expect to be able to hold greater powers than themselves accountable will not be welcome down here for much longer. Pick your battles because this one does not really matter. Hopefully nobody sensible is losing their job or their home over this. I cannot think of myself as human cattle but the time is not yet ripe for me to do much more than tread water for now. I will see an opportunity to escape all this madness within my lifetime I am sure.
Also as I have stated there is a silver lining to this dark cloud. I have no quarrel with seeing large sums of money funneled into medical research. I just hope something comes of it. From my perspective, considering the deeper circumstances behind all of this I am sure something will. There is also a disregard growing within me for the people incapable of thinking for themselves, who follow the status quo unquestioningly. So I don't really care much to try to change their perspectives. Most sleepers do not want to be awakened and they react very poorly when you try. Most people are a lost cause. Worry about yourself.
People who question things are being made to feel uncomfortable for good reasons. So I believe.
But enough rambling. Hopefully this wall of text was glossed over by the sheeple who other posters appeal to.

The data on hospitalisations, ventilations etc is for current cases only. There is no historical data that I know how to access. I have seen very few cases of ventilation in the Australian data however I only check a few times each week.

The video you posted shows data which I cannot fault. He corrected for population amongst other things so I trust his analysis. Additionally given his specialisation he does not stand to gain financially from the pandemic which allows him more freedom to provide an unbiased opinion.

Since masks were made mandatory in Victoria it seems that a large proportion of people feel they can leave their home even with symptoms. Just so long as they wear a mask everybody will be safe. You can try to tell people that masks are not effective if you ignore the more important methods of reducing infections but they will not listen. Cases are rising faster than before.

anybody with the ability to think critically who does not have an existing bias or vendetta will look at your data, most of which is without a source, do a few searches and realize that australia has a problem very similar to america, people are NOT wearing masks, being are ignoring curfews and mandates, and this is the one and only reason for increase in numbers, it's all over australian news

maybe it's time for you to pick a new conspiracy that is less relevant and put this one to bed
