I expect to see furthur stabilisation of the numbers, perhaps even a reduction, within the next five days. Around five days ago additional social isolation measures were enacted.

And as far as a vaccine, there are at least 3 in phase II clinical trials or further. At least two are enrolling for phase III, with one of them expected to start by the first of October. The question will be--is this a virus we can vaccinate once for in a lifetime and be done with it, or will it require regular boosters (tetanus, influenza)?

You basically ask what my problem is with the government voiding some of what translates to the articles of the US constitution.

Every government has a means of enacting government control and taking away rights when it's in the public's best interest. There are constraints to it in most countries. You shared a basic list of rights that I can look up on Wikipedia. What I can't find on Wikipedia is a nuanced legal guide on what all this means. What you didn't share is when you government can say "hey, stay home, follow orders until we give the all clear." If you were being invaded by France (as if...), you'd follow a marshal law order because doing otherwise might mean you get shot walking down the street at night, either by the enemy invaders who don't give a shit, or by your own army by mistaking you for an invader.

I also have some idea of the nuances of the legal definitions of the rights granted by the US Constitution, and as I stated to jalpha yesterday, some things are considered rights, and some things are just certain freedoms we've come to take for granted but aren't guaranteed rights. That's the nuance I'm looking for, and something you clearly missed. So I ask again, but this time, I'll make it more clear: What freedoms are being taken away that are granted by your government? From what I understand, the protesting in Germany is effectively the same as we saw in the US a few months ago (before the whole "Black Lives Matter" nation-wide protest broke out over the murder of a fellow citizen). I hate to call it "stupid people protesting intelligent thinking," as it's the first angry thing that pops into my head. The truth is closer to people that should be concerned over folks being restrained from normal every day living. The question is--who do we trust more? Some political pundit that's read too many novels and played too many thought experiments, or a doctor that maybe hasn't lead a "normal working-man's life?" As a student of the thought experiment, I'll trust the doctors and other lab geeks first. I know where the thought experiments can lead, and they're the biggest problem of the world today.

Or then the trials are rushed and there will be lot of bad side-effects, or the protection will be non existent for some people, and as a result, the vaccine won't help at all, and we wilö all have to be on home quarantine till eternity.

The constraints of what the government can do is the Grundgesetz, a translation of which is what I linked on Wikipedia.

These limitations were put onto government from what we had learned from the 3rd Reich (among others: Herr Mengele isn't to be taken as a model doctor - and we don't want a rerun of that whole thing). What currently is happening is that our government is shedding these shackles 'because corona', they gave themselves abilities that before would not even have existed in case of war.

The question is--who do we trust more?

The problem is that there is no more rational discussion, mass media is pushing the official narrative basically unquestioned.

I think it's a little more complicated. Every government in the world is being shackled in debt. This smells of NWO to me. Whoever is behind the banks has finally made their move I guess. Now they hold the whole world in one hand.

But it will not be enough for the needs of big money. Time to conquer the universe.
