I went in for a medical procedure (in the US) and they required a covid test. It was a very light swab of the nostrils, hardly felt it. It took 10 seconds. I asked the lady that administered the test what people were complaining about and she said that the one where they shove the qtip way up in there was one of the first methods to test but they've since developed less uncomfortable methods.

Yes. Some synchronised protests were being organised. Some people were arrested for organising them. Then the protests happened as organised. In some states there were arrests of protesters. A policeperson was "lacerated" during the protests. Media reports suggest the crowds were only of a few hundred but the initial gathering in Melbourne may have been much bigger before police broke it up a bit.

All media reports. I'm not in any facebook groups or anything. I'm in Italy eating pasta. Fuck the Australians haha.

They were bribed so much to keep their fat faces shut. The government went something like one trillion dollars into debt to double the dole and pay employees to sit on their couches watching covid scaremongering propaganda 24/7. Then they protest anyway. I guess one cop getting shanked isn't too bad though compared to some other places. Although it was day one.

So I hope they enjoy paying off all that debt lol. Because why would I help when I have to pay for business class tickets and a three thousand dollar mandatory quarantine. Wait, as an Australian overseas I am offered a two thousand dollar loan to cover accomodation costs. But only if I really, really need it.

The debt.

Offtopic but reminds me of how Japan has built it's economy on constantly loaning money. This sounds like a recipe for a disaster, but all debt is taken from Japan's national bank and thus Japanese are technically lending money from themselves. This has similar effect to simply printing more money (inflation or comparable effect on people's purchasing power) but the system seems relatively stable.

Look out everybody. Play the sirens. 200,000 dead to disease in the USA. How unhygenic. Buy a newspaper.

Not yet even 0.01% of the population. In Australia this sits at around 0.0035%. I'm too lazy to compare percentages with other nations. Except perhaps... Sweden... Where it is around 0.06%.

Percentages are a good way to assimilate data. I only posted so somebody would check my math.

I've seriously thought of buying some petri dishes and then going around, sweeping doorknobs until I find this virus, then grow a lot of it and spread the virus to public places in order infect enough people so the healthcare system capacity is at 99% usage. May get us to normal before christmas!

CDC announced that only 6% of the victims had only Coronavirus, the rest had other illnesses. But according to a today's logic someone with SARS-CoV-2 will die of coronavirus, even with additional illnesses like had been shot into the head several times or ran over by a bus.

Nothing to see here, move along.

I agree. Math looks reasonable.

But the 'coronavirus' brain fungus has taken root in the general population, so no one will listen and no one will care... and a (hopefully short) while later they all will claim to not having had the slightest clue, same as they claimed 75 years ago in my country that they all only carried out orders and no one being guilty of anything. This can already be seen as government mandated mask wearing in restaurants has been removed from the decrees several weeks ago here, but most restaurants enforce it even harder now then when this was in place.

Looking back through history: Nominal member always caused the most harm.

Problem is that the only way to grow a virus is in living tissue, you should skip the petri dishes and just lick things clean.

Why not? Just provide them with suitable cells and they will multiply.
