Why would anyone want to vaccinate (with a chance for death and even sudden death) against something you're no longer endangered by?

That would be beyond stupid.

Can you explain this? Are you talking about the blood clotting in women who took the astra and janssen vaccines? Afaik most countries stopped vaccinating women under 50 to eliminate that risk.

Because otherwise you cannot travel to certain countries that require you to be vaccinated, as I said.

I suggest you spend 40 minute to listen to Microbiologist Prof. Dr. Sucharit Bhakdi explaining his view on the situation.

Afterwards you should have what you need to reevaluate your stance on the whole thing. Then decide for yourself, if you want to experiment with an untested (long term study does not yet exist, as it is currently being executed on the general population) gene treatment, for an illness that you (and basically everyone else that will not die anyway from detoriation caused by of old age) will most likely survive without much, if any, inconvenience.

Just because a person was a prominent member of their field in the past doesn't mean they can't ever be wrong. Only the future can tell us whether we are taking the proper actions today. And there a plenty of examples of folks that were prominent in their field for many years suddenly end up on the side of being wrong, incorrect, or otherwise looking like the village idiot. Can anyone say "Municipal DC power supplies?"

Remember when pre-covid we all thought flat-earthers were this tiny occult of crazy anti-science people that were so silly and small that nobody had to worry about them?

I have crazy antii-vaxxer, covidhoaxers in my FAMILY and I am still just blown away every time I see something like this.

Think about the future implications here, as the divide between anti-science conspirators and sane people grows with more and more events like this, are there going to see more private schools in the future? A divide in curriculum that isn't caused by religion but rather bizarre facebook occultism type belief sets? Think about how many millions of children must be getting raised right now to believe that covid has a hoax, vaccines are bad, global warming is a myth ....

It's scary shit man

Did some read up on so called "long covid".

Doesn't seem like a thing to be worried about.
There were some mildly clickbaity titles in some Finnish newspapers about those, like dozens of % of people having symptoms. Which is scary.
..But then from the actual article, it occurred that most of those symptoms were self reported things like "tiredness" and inability to focus.

And from some a bit more trusted sources it seems that its mostly just kind of like sensitivity electricity or magnetic fields and all that.
Symptoms caused by the patient thinking that he has some long symptoms from the past disease. Not all of them, but most, especially shortness of breath, tiredness etc.
Of course it was not directly stated that most reports were just a load of bs, but the recommended treatments were stuff like mindfulness, relaxation and psychotherapy. From which I deduced that this must be the case. Something about "overactive autonomous neural system" which probably means worrying and stress about the disease.

Some 74-year old retired biologist vs. the scientific consensus of thousands, tens or even hundreds of thousands of doctors and researchers around the world amirite
