I dont get why people feel swastika as something that would offend them. I mean, if Jorb will become next hitler and kill millions of people and painting seatribe logo on their dead heads. Will people hate whales next century and think its inappropriate to have them anywhere?

I partially agree with you... However, we simply can't ignore the fact that the vast majority of people know the swastika as a nazi symbol only and not what it really has been throughout history. Actually, every symbol is ever-changing culturally, and you can't deny the new meaning that was attached so strongly to the swastika.

So, yes, although I agree that there's a lot more behind it than Hitler and that it actually is a good thing, I can't let myself act on behalf of intellectual elitism by complaining or arguing whenever someone relates the swastika to the nazi, because this is its strongest meaning on the contemporary western world reality I live in
