I have been wondering the difference between lights and lamps. Are there actually differences between lights and lamps? The bulb is what gives light (glows) when put in a lamp that feds it with power (by power cord or battery) ... so the lamp is the housing for a bulb ... to be honest the bulb is more like an ink catrige ... and the lamp more like a printer ... well and a light is what gives light ... which can be a socket only with a buld or a complete lamp ...
