Disappearing of horse

prolly not because
when my client (amber) suddenly freezed
and this bug subforum is for official default client

In case you use a custom client
- reproduce the issue with the Official Client, report directly to the author of that client if the bug isn't showing in the official one

But this has nothing to do with it being a custom client. A horse disappearing ingame is on the server, even if the user had a custom client it should have nothing to do with whether or not that horse logs off with them (assuming they stayed mounted), and especially not if as the OP said they logged back in within seconds.

My personal view is the OP isn't retelling the story accurately or some absolutely crazy bug caused the horse to disappear.

But that's... that's not the issue.

He's not asking for help about his client freezing. He's concerned about the horse disappearing. Did you read the OP? Or even the title of the thread?

And did YOU read the text (by borka) you're quoting and answering?
For OP, It may be, that freeze was caused by some anima attacked the horse, and it mismounted your char, and while you were restarting client - it ran away.
And "roaming around" won't guarantee you'll find it

One could (in theory) expect the OP to have mentioned being in combat. Also the timeframe the relog took (according to OP) should have not been long enough for the horse to flee from an animal that just initiated combat on it. Also he was sitting on the horse: having been ejected from combat should have been visible to the player, shouldn't it?

Removed above posts from Bugs. The original thread was about how to get the horse back, which vatas answered in the first post. It's probably more of an issue for How Do I? than Bugs, but without more information, I'm not inclined to move the thread, either. This was all a massive derail.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.
