It is not that they don't have a brickwall. If a sworm enemy was constantly harrying me when I am trying to build my brick wall or sending a horse to trample over my brick stockpile, that would be understandable.

It is they have every opportunity to make a brick wall before and after they provoked Ainran and after R'lyeah was raided. Great House and LoS had given them opportunity to grow and when Ainran countered back several months afterwards, only overtyped had a brickwall. When you make an enemy out of someone, defense is one of the important task as a leader of a faction.

That being said, I kind of want to hear it from himself why a brick wall was not built.

It's because brodgar is a free and open city. Only after the visitor buff was added did we start trying to build one, but ainranaway was here everyday bashing it :( Their only fighting force left was rage and vand alts, because of how hard they got shit on, so that left them with alot of free time on their hands :).
Early world exploit: Put your hearthfire inside a cave, then hold shift to position a claim right in front of a cave. After 8 hours the claim will be unbreakable. Since your hearthfire is inside the cave, you can still get back inside, and leave, but nobody will be able to enter, effectively making you unraidable for the first 3-7 days. Enjoy

Then wouldn't it be more prudent that he did not provoke Ainran before they had a brick wall? Provided that they aren't exactly moral upstanding hearthlings but one should not have just the metaphorical simple locked door as your mean of home security after trash talking the local gang.

I suppose it is a case of "Did not think this through" and once it happened, it might be difficult to get security up when being harassed (I know, I witnessed it in world 8). However Ainran was genuinely setback at one of their failed attacks which Robben had made a moot on (which I can confirm at one point when Nao was actually upset about their performance, something about the others forgetting how to play) as well as the fall of one of their allies, R'lyeh.

What's the point of making shit up about past worlds, like who even cares any more?

I'm pretty sure the reason NB didnt finish wall is because you guys were mostly inactive, there was a paved plan for BW for a long time, could have been done in 1 day with a bit of activity.

Their only fighting force left was rage and vand alts, because of how hard they got shit on

I'm guessing this is the kind of statement thrown around in your skype chat circlejerk, it's pretty lols to see you post it on forum. I think it's safe to say no village truly got "shit on" last world, the most damage dealt was probably destruction of Ryleh base and NB base but in both attacks, very few chars were actually lost and we had literally every member of Ryleh online to rebuild at new location within a few days. Ainran never suffered any village damage, they lost a couple chars (clark and jiochan) in nooby ways (hence why nao was mad) but all in all, it was insignificant. As is obviously demonstrated by the fact that Ainran "fighting force" ended up being the thing that destroy NB.

Yet somehow despite this fact and his personal involvement (death) in the matter, Vagina Dole manages to believe his own propaganda and rearranged his memories of last world to pleasant ones

I visited NB frequently and I can tell you they were not building a brick wall lol. Instead they had built a palisade around the village(mind you, it didn't cover all of the plots). Ftom the south to the eastern postern side of the village was fully palisaded. The northern side was banged up(palibashed I'm guessing since they're worthless at this stage of the game). And the western side was never finished since Ainran put down a village claim.

It might work slightly better this world since palisades are a lot more resilient than this world but it may also work against them since said resilient may encourage a sense of false security as well.

W7 New Brodgar had double walls so I doubt that's the reason.

I agree that Robben is a bad lawspeaker, and I believe so because of both his personality and the bad management decisions he made repeatedly. But the shame is on us. It means that we, as a community, cannot produce anyone better than him to lead a community project. W7 had at least 8 villages dedicated to new players, while in w8 and w9 he was the only one willing to make one. Whether the noobs in it were slaughtered or not is irrelevant. What matters is that the best community project we can come up with is Robben's New Brodgar and that's embarrassing.

I love all this hate, the raw emotion of overweight 20-40 year olds crying about how they hate robben when they don't actually know him, is delicious. If you manchildren lose a little weight, you wouldnt be so sweaty and angry all the time.
