I don't think that's really a derogatory term in this instance, or in need of being pointing out.
It's quite obvious to anyone reading that i'm responding for robben here.
Just take my advice people and lose some weight. I think all that fat is affecting your ability to make proper insults.
Early world exploit: Put your hearthfire inside a cave, then hold shift to position a claim right in front of a cave. After 8 hours the claim will be unbreakable. Since your hearthfire is inside the cave, you can still get back inside, and leave, but nobody will be able to enter, effectively making you unraidable for the first 3-7 days. Enjoy

Now others won't have that much of a reason to call you a fucking retard when they usually do as soon as you show up.

Disturbing pictures and assumptious ad hominem attacks aside, ven does raise a good point that even if Robben is not a good leader, he is kind of the only one that was trying to make some semblance of a newbie Haven. Personally I would nominate Emerald for this but I don't think she would want the role.

What is the point of making a newbie haven if it will be just a massive deathtrap that will do nothing but lure raiders to slay newbs in some easy pvp?

Personally I think those newbies would be better off hermiting or joining villages, there are many villages that are ok with recruiting and training newbs.

No one said it would be an easy task especially if they brought in ego luggage along.

Robben is retarded and other retards are whiteknighting for him.

It is jadesword posting dissatisfaction with Robben's action claiming that Robben had reclaimed leadership after jade had done much of the backbone work in helping with Brodgar. The response is 55% response to Robben's leadership. 20% overtype defending Robben 15% shit-posting and 10% none of the above.

Also I want to correct ven and myself that Robben isn't the only one that made attempt to help newbies in world 8. Gunnar has also done some groundwork in helping them as well but not keeping them. His method is different that he did not house the newbies inside a village but moreso gave them starter kits and presumably advice.

The effort only lasted somewhat more than a month due to world reset and it is unclear how successful it is due to lack of quantities in response but there had been no complaints so far.

Oh yeah that's true. It wasn't an actual village for new players but I think it still counts, I totally forgot about that.

It's ironic, though, that one moment people complain that hermits exist and ruin the game, and on another they don't do anything to help new players or say they should hermit instead of joining New Brodgar.
