I disagree. The situations definitely aren't identical but in my opinion the visitor debuff mechanic was skirted around in their situation as well rendering them at the very least, similar.

Maybe you should go re-read Jorb's judgement post...Where he states the intentions of the visitor debuff, and what not. I can't believe people are having this much difficulty understanding simple things. We did not get around the visitor debuff by jumping over a gate, nor did we attempt to remove the visitor debuff through any other means. We took advantage of spawning at a charterstone that was publicly open.
What we did was a combination of intended game mechanics, with each result producing the intended outcome. There is nothing to be patched, no bug, no exploit, nothing.
