You make us out to be a burden dude. Are you serious? I made the call, not to feel special, and not because I take joy in headaches and having my shit rummaged through endlessly. Yet we bore the entire village up on eagles wings, and you still were nowhere to be found, even with widespread rumors you had quit the game and wished not to lead any further. Bob Dole tucked tail and ran like a little bitch at the first instance of a fight who proceeded to come into TS to make silly ass offers of lettuce and turnip leaves for metal bars and shit. Not one time were myself and Jade ganked, caught derping, or a failed fight(Bro I still can't even get my Allah Ahkbar alt killed on these dudes). I mean we had a fucking tower on day 3 and a full palisade, no excuses. I never viewed my village mates as pleb trash and me as the elitist. I taught many how to fight, helped build their walls, gave them hundreds of left over building materials, and always did my best. Funny how those same people are still with us. That is called community bro.

The only burden was the burdens of your leadership calls. Face up to them.

I think alot of the damage has already been done to the players that make up most of brodgar, that is newbies or casual players who would rather find a different game than deal with massive internal drama.

I'm surprised brodgar is able to attract competent players after their blunders last world lol

What stands out to me in this thread is that you keep saying "Brodgar" when you should be saying "New Brodgar" instead. Yolan's Brodgar was an epic city and there has yet to be another village as impressive and unique as it was :D

A large group of us tired with having an organized village where everything was perfect but the competition was other perfect villages instead wanted to try being a smaller part of something bigger.
We figured that we'd have more fun in the mess of brodgar doing our own thing, and maybe even trading with our neighbours but due to the constant siege ended up being much more involved in brodgar than we had planned.

Outside of the internal drama, it was alot of fun playing with a mix of experienced and inexperienced players, hardcore and casuals. The siege also made every day intense and it felt like we were on the cusp of Guerrilla warfare against a stronger enemy before the collapse.
All in all it was entirely different to any world I've played before.

I hope some of the players from brodgar last world can post what actually happened, because now having seen it from the inside I understand that what went down with players like Leaf was most likely completely different from the picture that was painted on the forums.

Well you haven't seen the worst of brodgar imo lol. At the climax of the "war", Robben was suspicious of anyone who joined the village that was new to the game. Not to mention his campaign of shit posting. If you disagreed, you will get flamed by the "Lord Rube".
