Not that I have anything to complain about in terms of actual fighting, but the entire reason for hunting them down is hilarious.
To run it down before they spew any lies, our village had mined into a nearby hermit's minehole and when they stepped near their miner/other character, they had aggro'd us- so it was natural to defend themselves in the situation.
I didn't like how it all ran down, so I contacted the hermit who lived there (through a mutual friend) and redelivered their corpse, gave them food and rings and have traded with him multiple times since.
Frost butted in on the situation, wanting to know what happened, and while I did explain to him all of that, he came up with a lie that the people of gloom had payed him an LC of pearls to hunt down the villagers who did it, Frost then claimed that he would leave us alone if we payed him in pearls instead (6 pearls, mind you, instead of 64? why?)
I contacted gloom, and they had no idea who frost was- and the chance of them having that many pearls was nil since he was farming out pearls to buy goods from us during one of our trades.
I was annoyed by that, and then Frost decided to IM a good villager of ours, first talking to him about how he
wanted to
'smash' me , which was enough to repulse all of us to the point of not wanting to bother with any sort of diplomacy anymore.
This was then followed by Frost with a desperate attempt at getting Kumsalot to betray us, of which obviously didn't work in the slightest.
Also, to further clarify, we are not allied with anyone. We have villagers who are friends with people in other factions- and I hold nothing against AD even now, infact the only person I've come to dislike from this ordeal is Frost- for both what he said to our villager of me, and his random desire to recite bible passages after I told him I was not going to pay him anything.
