The point wasn't that I am redhanded, but that it is trivial to avoid the problem.

Just make it so you cant aggro things if you have visitor debuff?

you can also aggro someone's animals hitched to post for taming atm

Yeah, I kinda still think it is a bug that afflicts a key mechanic, and not really a well-known one; and even with visitor debuff disallowing hostiles to enter your house, the mechanic can be (and, most likely, will be, if haven't been already) abused by "friendlies"; so, I shall ask my question again - doesn't even the theoretical possibility of a nidbane being deliberately aggroed at an offline criminal defeat the purpose of nidbanes waiting for offline people? I think it does.

so to "abuse" the use of a nidbane, does one aggro it at any time or just when its target it in sight?
