Thank you everyone from confirming it so far :)

As for the sparring tournament, the only one that actually expressed interest so far is MrPunchers. I assume frosty would participate too when he said he'd come.

Anyone else for sparring tournament?

If we get like 6-10 people we could even make it running points + eliminatory rounds
(like this: Everyone battles everyone. 3 points per victory, 1 per defeat, top 4 face semifinals: 1st vs 4th, 2nd vs 3rd and then final)

Why not run the tournament by brackets or a round robin?

Yes, I meant round robin - just didn't know it by that name.
But I like the idea of a small bracket in the end with the top 4 during the round robin phase.
As for the points, it makes sense for sports with a tie but I just realized that there is no ties in dueling so it makes no sense to count points :P just plain victories.

This would only work with a good amount of fighters though, if not many people come than a simple round robin (without semfinals and finals) will do :P
