Either way this goes, jorb will be put in between arguments, nothing he can do to please everyone, it will just waste his time and patience. Tell you what. Instead of requesting for revenge why not ask for help? If all that jorb can do is 1month sub, appeal to the community. I know the community is cancer, but there are people willing to help. Make a thread - help Bob Dole get on his feet, and accept donations. I mean with your playstyle all it takes is salt and some ice to rock on again. You also have notoriety among some factions that I guess they could spare some of their shit to help you. I'd be willing to help you with whatever I got.

This is the perfect response to this tantrum thread. Let the people that enjoy you help you back on your feet and let the Devs get on with developing without dragging them into this nonsense. Any player with a lesser forum presence would just be told to cry more, the game is not for them and have it pointed out this is an eternal alpha and everything could be wiped tomorrow anyway.

If a dev changes the rules as he goes, then why doesn't he just change the rules and give back what I lost? he said he could easily do it.
What I have come to understand from what he has said, is that he wants the rules to be static. He said if he restored my place, he would have to restore everyone else in the future.

Wasting dev time? This is actually the responsibility of the devs to sort out since it is them who did not implement a bug free environment.
Adding to that they actually manage to mismanage the aftermath of it.

I don't care if it's a statement steeped in truth or not. The fact is life is not fair and sometimes you gotta pick yourself up by the britches and get on with things.

I see heaps of people in this thread complaining and saying it's unfair, but I don't see a single person actually doing something about it. I've rarely seen the community so well aligned on a single viewpoint, but the frustrating thing from my perspective is that nobody who is passionate about this issue is willing to do anything about it.
