It's not a rumor about the money thing, someone did actually hire the AD goons out to our area and have been pestering the area frequently on said purchaser of muscle's behalf.

When the devs made tokens trade-able they broke down the taboo about paying money for in-game goods or services. I was more talking about demanding real money to not raid settlements, which as far as I know has not happened.
