Because we are talking about justice. If today devs say: -"this isnt a bug, no punishment" and tomorrow for the same stuff they say: "its a bug, punishment" , then we will have a problem because people wont never know what is good or bad. It's like living under a dicatorship where the mood of the ruler will determine if you live or die.
This case looks simple: If its a bugabuse just resurrect him! It's fair!. Yeah, ok, maybe. But what about tomorrow? Maybe then the case wont be so clear and everybody will remember the day laws were bypassed for a single situation abitrarily. Think about it bro.

Hence why I suggest that faulty game mechanics like this (visitor buff) should be removed, as they only succeed at best at not doing their job properly and at worst creating gray areas like the past 2 "bugraids", and only allowing for people to screw eachother up in shady ways.

I didnt have other problems with you before. Ive been bitching against Dis in other ocasions. I think devs are wrong.

I'm also suggesting that with a strong rule system and strong punishments this situations wouldnt happen so often and would have a better resolution, at least for the victims.

To clarify my stance, I am not arguing for or against a revival of the character. Characters are transient assets at best.
I am merely pointing out that precedence based laws are hugely unhelpful when the precedence are as muddled as W1-9 are. Especially considering everyone seems to include the long stretches of time of W6-7 where the devs were unable to arbitrate simply because they did not have the time, as precedence. (Seeing how they were finishing up SALEM/Hafen2.0)

Basicly: Each case should be judged by its own merits and situation.

Also while I do not argue for reviving Bob the Barbarian. As it stands now, all of his account/stead assets are effectively frozen because someone figured out that you can ignore a intended mechanic by humping a horse and a ropewalk while on a friendly vclaim at the same time*, which is ridiculous. - I would however like to suggest the devs merely smash the hijacked gates. This would not violate the No-Ressurection rule and still undo a major amount of the damage. But that is just my own humble opinion. I simply think the situation sucks that Bob died to 'secret murder' rather than yannow, a arrow to the knee or a 1v1.

*this is a facetious statement meant to illustrate the absurdity of the situation, I will not confirm nor deny that this is how the bug/exploit happened and as a result, you may not use it in a counter-argument. Even partially and/or out of context.

Can we not have a situation where people stop trying to abuse bugs for raids? It shouldn't even be an idea- there should always be the threat of getting your own village demolished to stop people from wanting to do this.

Sorry for your loss, Dole- and I do hope that if it's found to be a genuine bug abuse that whoever did it gets their punishment (assuming you aren't part of the group that was permitted to be raided anyways).


I'll save my own opinion on whether it should be considered a bug or not when I actually find out /what/ happened.
I still think charterstones should be removed, and that the Visitor debuff should be exclusive for when Kingdoms are made/if they are made.
