Nothing would be and as for the pay issue he cryied about drama like this when it was ftp so that argument is null. How many people lost lives due to server crashes and fualty coding maybe you think jorbs should give us all 10000000000 lp for all our lost time over all the worlds and maybe he should nuke him self since you all believe he is a bad admin for it. Wake up people! You don't like it how it is go play farmville I hear you don't die on that game.

Zero chance

Couldn't if we wanted to

Can't sue, there's a disclaimer on the front pages. We implicitly agree that bugs may cause us to lose everything.

I understand overtyped's point. This is a competitive game and some degree of sportsmanship and fairness is expected. As the playerbase grows, so also grow exploit use and requests for justice. The devs won't be able to keep up with their case-by-case approach, so there should be clear rules of what's allowed and what's not. This way, when there's complaint of bugraid, the devs would be able to check it against those rules and decide quickly whether the line was crossed or not. Right now, as others and myself have said before, there's no incentive not to bugraid since the punishment will never be as high as the profit, and precedents confirm that repeatedly.

He knew he'd eventually lose the character, this is HnH after all. But not like this.

How can any of you answer pile of shit like "I thought that you would take this like a man, but I am heavily disappointed."
Yeah right, be a man son, level it up again and maybe loose it all to bug abuse again, what's preventing it ? Jorb will delete a few smelters from their outpost.
He is asking for the same rules for everyone.
This is a pretty major bug abuse, not sure you could do worst than what they did. Kill you when you're afk, and then lock your base, which is exactly like razing it without admin intervention.

I agree he should keep on playing and get revenge eventually, hell why not even bug raid them too, and see what punishment he'll get ? But why even bother so far..

To finish, it's not about people defending HIM or not, I'd do the same post if it was my worst enemy, we can't have people using bugs like this and having a lighter loss than their target, we just can't.

(lasty keep in mind he didn't lose your crap characters, he lost a maxed one)

Well I don't see why you are getting so mad, when the public opinion seems to be the opposite of yours.
This game is after all permadeath, so if you die you shouldn't be revived under any circumstances, and imo a char with maxed attributes isn't exactly anything hard, since the stat cap is quite low. Plenty of players have died to bugs, being it from bug rams, wall jumps, bug raids, alt summoning, boat combat (back in w7 when it shouldn't have been possible), stuck under boat bug and others, in legacy or hafen.
Hell back in w7 like half of the active fighters from AD/Dis died due to some summoning alt or boat bug. I believe that the last time Loftar or Jorb have revived a character was back in 2010, so I don't see why they should start reviving any characters now.
Some people think that just cause you might be paying some money per month to play this game, now that there is a subscription option, that you're entitled to some sort of immunity to bugs.

Thread got totally derailed... Dole was not asking for a revival or his gear back... Dole was just asking that Jorb and Loftar stay consistent with their punishments, if they nuked villages in the past for bug raiding why did they not do it now? Have to agree with Dole and say they should stick with one form of punishment for bug abusers.

Actually I feel like the argument that "we're paying customers" isn't as strong as it was last world because unlike last world, the game is now free to play. In world 8 you were actually paying to play the game, but now if you pay it's mostly just for some extra perks and to support the dev team

Core got nuked and characters deleted in a world for bug raiding someone with a wall jump when the game was pay to play 100%.

Ainran got nuked in a world for bug raiding someone through an open gate when the game is 0% free to play.

Odditown was declared open season for raidined someone using some sketchy visitor debuff work around from lack of security.

Sure many people subscribe. But that is more or less a donation with a perk on the end.

Visitor wasn't that relevant.
